Challenge:
Modern tanker operations demand continuous and reliable monitoring of critical vessel parameters, including cargo tank levels, pressure, temperature, hull draft, and alarm points. The bridge requires a computing solution that can integrate diverse sensor data, withstand the harsh marine environment, and provide unwavering reliability to ensure both safety and operational efficiency.
Our Solution:
We deployed a robust industrial computing system centered on two of our core products: the IBOX-1326 Industrial Mini PC and the IBOX-3226 Industrial Computer. This powerful duo was installed in the tanker's bridge to create a centralized data acquisition and display hub.

IBOX-3226 Industrial Computer as the Central Processing & Display Unit:
The IBOX-3226, powered by a high-performance 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processor, serves as the brain of the operation. It runs the specialized monitoring software, processing all incoming data from the IBOS-1326 gateway. Its key feature of supporting four simultaneous HDMI displays allows the crew to visualize all critical parameters—such as real-time tank levels, pressure readings, draft calculations, and active alarm points—on multiple large screens for at-a-glance situational awareness. Its support for multiple storage drives (M.2 and 2.5" HDD) ensures ample space for data logging and historical analysis.
Key Benefits Realized:
Enhanced Operational Safety: Real-time monitoring of all critical parameters allows for immediate response to any anomalies, preventing potential incidents.
Improved Decision-Making: Centralized, clear visualization of data on multiple displays empowers the bridge crew with the information needed for precise cargo management and navigation.
Unmatched Reliability: The industrial-grade design of both IBOS units guarantees 24/7 operation, resistant to vibration, wide temperature fluctuations, and the corrosive marine atmosphere.
Scalable & Integrated Architecture: The multiple COM and M.2 slots on both devices provide ample room for system expansion and future integration with additional shipboard systems.
Conclusion:
This integrated monitoring solution, powered by the versatile IBOX-1326 Mini PC and the high-performance IBOX-3226 Industrial Computer, transforms the tanker bridge into a state-of-the-art command center. It provides a resilient, scalable, and highly effective platform for safeguarding the vessel, its cargo, and the crew, setting a new standard for operational intelligence in the maritime industry.
